Great Fire of London reenactment

As part of their topic on the Great Fire of London 1666, years 1 and 2 constructed their own ‘mock’ timber frame buildings. With great excitement they laid these out in the pattern of the city of London on the school field using their houses. They then re-enacted the fire by setting alight the house in pudding lane and with great excitement watched the fire spread. Do not fear, disaster was averted by the planned arrival of Warwickshire fire brigade who put the fire out.
